# Rendering intent expectations, revision 2

|
The PDF and both ICC profiles are byte-identical to `../rendering-intents`.
|
|
Only the eight `shading-pattern-inherit` expected-intent rows are corrected:
|
|
an absent pattern ExtGState RI inherits the graphics state at the defining
|
|
content stream's entry. These are page streams, with initial RelativeColorimetric.
|
|
The later paint-time `ri` does not replace that initial value.
|
|
|
|
The original manifest is retained as historical failed-oracle evidence. Revision 2
|
|
records its hash and the correction tool hash. No rendered pixel was used to
|
|
select the corrected intent. Explicit pattern RI overrides are unchanged.
|
|
|
|

Regenerate into a new directory:

Validate with `tests/cmyk_lut/intents.py --corpus
|
|
tests/fixtures/pdf/rendering-intents-context`. The separate four-page
|
|
`intent-transparency` fixture covers initial page/Form state, repeated pattern
|
|
use, explicit overrides, uncolored fill/stroke and luminosity masks.
